this monday, mr.zhao-an art professor from nanjing university had a speech with us gca students,the speech is about the chinese garden,it took us about an hour .mr.zhao is a very famous person who is focus on studying the chinese garden,he won lots of awords,this speech is really a good chance to us.
mr.zhao told us about :what is garden,the garden,s meaning,the main kinds of the chinese gardens,the chassical gardens of suzhou and some old poems that praise the beauty of chinese gardens.he especially introduce thegardens in suzhou because suzhou gardens represent lots of features about chinese garden.such as yi garden and ge garden ,these two gardens,overalls are very well , the rivers ,the pavilions and thegreen plants are put together perfectly,suzhou gardens have many features,the most important is divide the rivers or the hills into different pieces ,another important part is make people feel:although the gardens are made of human,
but look like made of the nature.
chinese gardens, kinds are divided into :the gardens of empire ,the gardens of personal ,the temples gardens and the nature gardens,they are the old forests in the city ,you can get quiet from the noise here,the old chinese characters usually like drawings,the words garden has a square ,a picture like y,and a word likes chinese land,these pitures mean different parts of the chinese garden .
after this speech i leanred lots of knowledges about chinese gardens ,but in fact ,i really don,t have mang interests about the gardens ,i prefer the noise cities to the quiet gardens,but these knowledges are good for my future ,so i listened to mr.zhao carefully .mr.zhao is really very good at appreciating the gardens,but i don,t want to have another speech like this again.
